Boise, SLC

Boise was umm fine. Bad sound and super smoky. Spoiled by smoke free Cali and Oregon. Got to do some hot tubbing though so all was good in the end. In SLC under the hospitable eye of Mr. Will Sartain. Great guy and the Man in SLC. I believe he even cooked Joggz vegetarian Thanksgiving way back when. Show tonight, and then just one more in Denver. Stay tuned.

Eugene for the Inaugural

Night off, in chilly Eugene. Hospitality galore. Play here Tues night then sleep in our own beds for the first night of Obama's reign, then off to Boise. Petaluma was a blast, went to bed in Sebestapol underneath a gold record of Jackson Browne's Late for the Sky while listening to it on my headphones. Woke up listening to Nick's uncle insisting that the upcoming Grateful Dead tour is gonna go to shit, and he thinks it'll be hilarious. You've been warned.

Santa Cruz

Still nice weather, man. Best thing I overheard so far today,"So I accidentally sucked a married guys dick, no shame in that". Right on sister, right on? Chillin here for the day, short drive to SF for an already sold out bottom of the hill show. Your welcome Meat Puppets! I kid.

I really want to catch those football games tomorrow, but we'll see. I think there's no way the Super Bowl, Boss and all, will top last years so, this might be the last quality game(s) of the year.

Still workin on posting video. Actually I'll try to hash that out right now.

Hi from soundcheck in Santa Barbara. Very interesting, and fun new friends in Long Beach, hey it's George Hurley, and he ate a whole sandwich! Met some cool dudes from Buffalo, talked Bills, and Rochester. "I went to RIT, Class of 78!" Cool I was 4. We were ok, the crowd was large but somewhat apathetic, but came around.

Santa Barbara is full of pristine shops and pristine people. I want to become a mega rich tool and move here, for like a minute at least. We might get a first ever soundcheck, but then again I think I just jinxed it. I don't want it to get cold again, I'm in summer mode with this unseasonably warm mid 80's SoCal niceness.

Still working on getting video up, and photos. Patience, it's out there people.
We are toying w/ the idea of a Portland homecoming house show, but don't hold your breathe just yet.
For now Eugene is the best bet, and that will be a guaranteed hootenany.

Shaky Hands: San Diego

18 Hours from Portland to San Diego. The beach was our reward.
Meat Puppets absolutely slayed. I think this is gonna be good.
This was good drunk last night, let's see if it still holds up eh?
